Need a Hug Bunny Card GIU Day 1

 Good Morning Unity friends.  Welcome to my GIU Day 1 post.
I am so honored to be able to share my work with you this week.
I love how easy it is to work with Unity Stamps and they always produce a great quality stamped image.

For my very first GIU project I created a card using the adorable bunny stamp from the

Patience and Hugs Collection

I followed the Jennifer McGuire Ink video showing the technique for the cloud background.  I think it makes a very cute background for these adorable critters.
I didn't have a sun stamp so I drew a sun, cut it out, inked it up, then added it to my card.
I stamped the bunny image on white cardstock then used tombow markers to add color to them.  Then I cut them out and added pop dots to them for a little dimension.
I then took the "I Need a Hug" sentiment and masked the I to make the sentiment read "Need a Hug"

Innocent and Integrity

This morning I ended up staying home from church with a stomach bug.  As I sat with my tablet on our oversized chair I opened my bible on my kindle app to read a little.
I am in this group on Facebook that is studying Psalm and decided to read this week's chapter.
Psalm 26
Since this group is a bible journaling group I chose a verse that stood out to me to illustrate.  I ended up illustrating verse 10,  "Declare me innocent, O Lord, for I have acted with integrity..."

I have also created a print and trace for this design.

I created this illustration using my Samsung tablet.  When I feel better I will print this out and add it to my journal.
