Just Playing Around

Here I am playing around instead of working on some layouts that I need to get made. But... all work and no play makes Tricia a grumpy mom and wife. So I am taking a little break from scrapping. I was getting some practice at stamping and coloring again. It was almost perfect, but if you look really close you will see some smudging on her face. (at least you can see the smudge in person.) But anyway here it is. Another card to show off. Thanks for looking.


I used a digi stamp from All that Scraps. Unfortunately, my printer ink smears when I use the mineral oil on it, so I have to trace the lines with a sharpie, that explains the bumpy lines in some places.

Free Tree Pattern svg and png

Good Morning,
Yes morning, I am actually posting early for once. I am up all by myself so I thought I would just work on a new pattern to post. Today's pattern is for a tree, I decided on a tree since it is fall, and all the leaves are changing colors. This pattern can be used to make a cute fall border, just cut several trees in different fall colors and paste together. It's that simple.

My First Attemp at Digi Stamps

Here is a card I made using a digi stamp that I purchased. I have never made a card before with digi stamps or stamps. So I deem this card as my first digi stamp card. The card was made using a sketch from the Pixie Cottage Card Challenge.

Free Candy Corn svg pattern and png

Finally, I was able to make time to add a new svg and png file. I have designed a candy corn svg for you to use on any halloween layout or handmade card. As mentioned earlier today, I now have a donation button for those who would like to leave a donation for the svg/png files. I Would Like to Ask....

To my blog friends and visitors,
On Friday, my daughter, who is having difficulties in school, brought home a paper talking about a school trip that the 8th grade class will be taking in October of 2010. The 8th grade class will be taking a trip to Washington DC. The cost of this trip is estimated to be 1,300 per child. I have told my daughter if she could keep her grades up she will be allowed to go. Well living on a Minister's salary makes it a little difficult for us to be able to save up the money to go. So I am asking if anyone would be willing to make donations for the svg/png files they download. I am going to start adding new files tonight (hopefully). My daughter really wants to go on this trip, and if this trip can be used as an incentive to help my daughter improve in school then that would be a blessing in itself.
So to the right I have added a donation button. All donations will be used for her trip. I will leave the button up until we have received the amount that will get her to Washington DC.
