Welcome to my final day of being a GIU Gal.
I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed sharing my projects with you this week.
For my fifth and final project I would like to share with you my Distressed Butterfly Card.
I LOVE distressing my paper when making cards.
For this card I used white cardstock for the card base. Then I reached into my scrap stash and pulled out some matching aqua blue papers.
I then used my distressing tool to ruff up the edges.
Then I used the leafed paper stamp from A Love Beyond Measure collection.
Stamped it onto white paper, distressed the image then punched out the holes to make it look like it was ripped out of a notebook.
Then I stamped the butterfly from Keep Going Anyway
onto pattern paper and colored it with Tombow Markers using a water brush.
I hope you enjoyed my week of Unity Projects.
Thanks so much for stopping by each day.

I have never distressed a card, it is not my way, but your card is beautiful. We all find our favorite things and I try to do one outside of my comfort, maybe I will have to try a distress and see if it is as pretty as yours.

Love the card. My distress is always a disaster. I think I am too heavy handed - even when I am using a light touch. Sigh.
