Another Layout Just Because
I made another layout this morning. This one is similar to the one I created yesterday. Using the same layout sketch, only mirrored. I have decided to take this layout and the one from yesterday and frame them so I can hang them in my living room.
We have lived here for almost a year and I still don't have any pictures hanging on my walls. So these will be the first.

A Layout Just Because
I was in the mood to scrapbook just for me today. Sketchabilities had a "just for fun" sketch posted and I really liked the sketch so I created a layout using that sketch. I used some pictures of my daughter taken while at a sleepover. The mom is a photographer and she did photo shoots of all the girls who had attended. I thought these were just the cutest pictures of my daughter and just had to scrap them.
Thanks for looking.

I'm on a Design Team
I have been chosen to participate on a design team. My very first ever.
I am so excited to be a part of the Sketchabilities design team. Sketchabilities has already sent us the sketches for next month and I am pleased to say I already have one layout completed. And believe me it's killing me having to wait to show it. But I will be good and wait until the reveal on the Sketchabilities blog.
I must say it was so nice to actually sit and create a layout that will be added to my album instead of being sold. I am thinking it's time I do a little more of that for myself. I even went out and got a new printer so I can print my photos out when I am ready to scrap them. I can't wait to get started on another layout for my own album.

Free Jelly Bean Paper Piecing Pattern
Here is my newest pattern freebie. This jelly bean paper piecing pattern is available for free at
Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. Enjoy.
Catch The Bug Challenge
Watch out, I'm on a roll. I just finished another card challenge. I know I'm starting off with pretty simple designs, but simple is good for a woman who has limited time to "play".
This card was designed using the sketch from the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.
I this this is a very cute design, and as I said, simple. The image I used is also a digi stamp you can purchase on my website Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. And yes, this one is already listed.
Once again, thanks for stopping by.
Card Challenge SSS47
I have decided to be adventurous today and participated in a Card Challenge. I have never really participated in a card challenge before and thought, "Hey, why not?"
So here is my card for The Sweet Shop's SSS47 card challenge.
Not bad I suppose. The paper I used was from a past Spring Stack from DCWV and the little bear in a chick costume is a digi stamp that I designed. You can get it at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs
(or you will be able to, I just realized I don't have it listed yet).
Anyway, Thanks for taking a look at my very first card challenge card.

Being Sick is the Worst
I started getting that "feeling" on Tuesday that I was coming down with something. Tuesday night I went to bed with a slight fever and a little chest congestion. Wednesday morning I woke up to feeling like crud. Praying all day Wednesday that I would feel better so I wouldn't have to cancel my vacation plans. Woke up this morning not feeling much better so I decided it was time to call the doctor. My girls and I are leaving for Louisiana on Saturday, so I need to feel better before then. I went to the doctor's today to find out I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. Yeah! (being a little sarcastic there.) I have blown my nose so much that I now look like Rudolph. The doctor put me on some antibiotics so I'm hoping and praying I am better by Saturday. If not, then I'll have to disappoint my girls and cancel our trip. Which will also disappoint my mom and dad and my aunt too. They were all looking forward to us visiting. So all my praying blogger friends out there, please pray for a speedy recovery for me. Thanks!!

Excuse My Blog
I am playing around trying to create a background to match my new website. I have most of it looking the way I want it to look, however my header is just a bit off. Not sure why that is.
If anyone has any tips on how I can correct it I'd love to hear from you.
Until I figure it out I'll be a little off centered.
