Tutorial for Business Card Holder
Supplies Needed:
glue
small buttons
12X12 cardstock or pattern cardstock
x-acto knife
paper trimmer
paper scorer(optional)
Take 12X12 paper and cut (1) 9 1/2" X 4 1/4" piece and (1) 2" X 6" piece
Score 9 1/2" X 4 1/4" piece at 2 1/2", 4 1/2" and 6 1/2".
Apply glue to the 2" block next to the 3" block.
Glue the 3" block and the 2" block together.
Add two small buttons to the center of the 2 1/2" block 1/2" from the outer edges.
How your holder should look so far. (If you are familiar with easel card this is similar to making the easel card.)
Take the 2" X 6" piece.
Score at 1/2", 1", 5", and 5 1/2"
Flip piece and score at 1" and 1 1/2".
Using your x-acto knife cut along the folds where the dotted lines show.

Repeat on opposite side.
How your piece should look now.
Fold all scored lines.
Apply glue to the small tab.
Glue side tab to the small tab.
Repeat on opposite side.
How your piece should look.
Glue short back tabs to long back tab.
How your piece should look.
Apply glue to the back tabs.
Glue box to the easel about 1/8" from the bottom edge.
How your easel business card holder should look when you are finished.
Now decorate as desired.
