Enjoy Every Moment Mixed Media Card GIU Day 3

Good Morning!!  Welcome back to my blog.
Here we are at Day 3 of my GIU Blog Posts.
For today I would like to share this mixed media card I created.
Mixed Media is one of my newest passions.  I love the creative, messy process of designing a mixed media project.
For this card I used Dylusions paints for the background, layering Bubble Gum Pink, Fresh Lime, and Squeezed Orange.
I then used the circle stamp from the You Can Do It collection. I masked the scribbles outside the circle because all I wanted was the circle.
I used the rose from Rebuild Your Life.  I stamped the image on white cardstock then stamped over the flowers with the sentiment from She Never Says Never.  Then I used Tombow markers to color in the flowers.  Then I distressed the edges with black Stayz On Ink.
Then I used the Enjoy Every Moment sentiment from I Am Who I Am

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  Hope you enjoyed my project.

I do not do mixed media but this one is stunning I like plain cards and mixed media are too much for me but this is a pretty one and not overdone

I also am more of a "plain card" person. However, your mixed media card is really beautiful. I can see if you have the time how much fun it could be to mix things up. Great card!

This is so beautiful! I love the background. I'm afraid to do mixed media, but this turned out so wonderful I may have to try but I don't think I'd be good at it.

Wow! I love to look at mixed media projects. Make them, not so much, I have yet to attempt one that doesn't end up in the trash or a foot thick before it hits the trash can! I adore this card.those flowers really pop out of that background. And that background. Well, I dream of a day when I can make one I like....
